One issue I have noticed with Windows 11 is that drag & drop of components (other .skp models) into an existing .skp model works terribly. The location of the component origin is obscured by Windows 11’s oversized copy / paste / create link icon that helpfully pops up.

It’s incredibly annoying if you are trying to inference in a relatively cluttered model. It would great if the Sketchup team could either:
- Suppress this Win 11 feature (if possible), or
- Make local component library browsing and searching first class, so I don’t have to use Windows Explorer to search my own components library
NB: this isn’t a feature request - I’m just pointing out why these feature requests would be good.
