Shortcut Help for Edit menu commands

Hello my name is Karson,

When i go into preferences/shortcuts there is no edit/item/explode. i don’t see any edit/item anyehere. i am trying to create a shortcut for explode.I am using 2017 pro.

Select a component or group that can be exploded first. Then set the shortcut.

Expanding on Dave’s reply, functions that are situation/context dependent show up on the list available for shortcuts only when that situation is active.
