Sharp edges along compound curves

I can’t seem to find the resource that’d allow me to lose the sharpness of this edge. As the ends taper down to nothing, I’m looking for a tool which could make a round-off of gradually decreasing diameter. Maybe I’ve already got the plug-in, but it’ll be a while before I’m familiar with all those new tools.

Which method for rounding part edges

I used Spirix to create this:

It morphed the two outlines, c1 and c2 with a circular interpolation in the DEPTH direction. It’s not terribly easy or intuitive to use, but it might be something worth looking into.

Got it installed, and found how-to pdf’s and clips. At first glance, looks like a rather steep learning curve…
I wish Soapskin Bubble wasn’t so finicky…

Just thought you’d like to know: I managed this using Fredo6’s Curviloft
Thanks for the Spirix referral, I’m sure it’ll come in handy when I wrap my head around it…
