Shadow Adjustment Issue

Hi everybody…I have been enjoying my Sketchup Pro for months now, and it has helped me secure some signwork. I have a couple sketches I am doing where I would like more control over the shadow that casts for the letters. It is too dark, and too blunt. Is there a way where I can blur it, or make a semi transparent look? Thankyou to anyone who can answer this question.

Here is one of the drawings…you can see the shadows are deep and very sharp. It would look gfar better with a blurred look. rOb

Open the Shadows window/tray and adjust the light and dark sliders. There is no provision to blur the shadows, or make them transparent however. But you could make a copy of your model and move it slightly down and back then paint it with a non-opaque material.
