Is it too much to ask to separate the “erase” and “hide” commands on the drop down menu? Just put the “lock” command between them. Maybe it could be:
Entity Info
Hide
Lock
Erase
Please don’t respond with the short cut keys and components versus groups, I don’t care. Just fix the menu and this problem will go away forever. Thank you.
I don’t see any problem. If I want to hide I will choose menu “Hide” if I wand delete I choose “Erase”.
Similar as if I want to go I push accelerator pedal, If I want to stop then the brake pedal.
BTW. There is no “lock” menu if you mouse is over e.g. edge…
When you right click a component or group the drop down menu is:
Entity Info
Erase
Hide
Lock
etc.
I would be very happy if the programmers at Sketchup could just rearrange this menu and separate the “Erase” and “Hide”.
