In version 2026, Send to LayOut is greyed, though the model is previously saved. When I open LayOut separately, the model can be inserted. Chat GPT says, there must be a bug and recommends new clean install. Anybody heard of this?
Have you installed SketchUp 2026 properly, or are you running it from the downloaded DMG file?
I think the install is proper, just like the installer recommends. Everything else work OK.
On Mac, send to LayOut relies on LayOut being in the same folder as SketchUp, and it has the original name. Renaming LayOut.app to be LayOut 2026.app, so you can tell it apart from LayOut 2023, would be enough to break things.
If that is what you have done, you could make Aliases to the difference versions, rename the Alias, and drag the Alias to the Dock. Then you see the name when you point to the icon in the Dock, and clicking it will open the original named LayOut.app.

Thousand thanks! Yes, I have changed the name. After recovering the original name, everything works! But before that I tried the icon on the toolbar, and it also worked. So simple!
