Section planes and scenes

Hello,

My home remodel plans have ~20 scenes at this point. When i make a section plane for “basement” , update my scene, i see the section plane in all of the scenes. Not the cut, but the plane. After several sections for different floors and wall details it is a mess of confusion.

Do i really need to edit a style every time? Is there a way to simple have it visible in the scene that it is drawn in??

I can’t imagine the design of the software to be so cumbersome.

place the section plane to a layer only visible in basement scene

other and better methods , right click and hide, or use toggle on/off in section menu

Create a style that has section planes turned off and use that style for every scene that has a section plane. You can have hundreds of section planes and never see them unless you want to.
