For some reason my scenes are no longer saving with the section cuts. I am not a pro by any means at using sketchup, but I am going into the model, adding a section cut of the elevation I want to save, adding/ saving a scene. But then when I go back and view my scenes, the section cuts haven’t saved.
Active section panes are on
In the styles, section cuts and section planes are ticked
Am I missing something?
Typically this issue stems from not updating the style after changing the Section settings. Have you disabled the Styles warning that normally appears when creating or updating a scene after modifying the style?
You could share the .skp file. It would make it easier to exactly diagnose the problem.
Right click on the section plane and choose Active Cut. Then right click on the Scene tab and choose Update. Unless you want to show the section plane in your scene, you should also edit the style, turn off Section Plane, and then update the style by clicking on its large thumbnail.
You might also want, for Scene 8 to set the Standard View to Front. This is what I see with the camera position in Scene 8 as you have it set up. Of course this is after I did as I directed for the section cut.

I have just created two new scenes ‘Left wall elevation’ and ‘window elevation’ and only one has saved with the cut, the other without?! 
Is this a different file that the one you shared?
Its the same one, I have just re saved …see if that works

What are the new scenes? There’s still only the one scene and it doesn’t look like you’ve followed the directions I gave you to get the section cut to show.
