Scan QR Code - Trimble Connect

Hi people,

Im trying to Scan a QR marker from Trimble Connect but an error message is displayed every time that i try to scan. The message is: “You do not have access to the project/file/view, or the QR code is invalid.”

I believe I did the process correctly, as the marker was generated and no error message was displayed.

I’m afraid you should scan the QR code with Trimble Connect AR.
Are you doing that?

@rtches is right, the AR app is part of Trimble field technology and the extension in the browser is used to place qr markers inside the model for augmenting the model on site:

If you have a subscription and downloaded the IOS AR app (preferably on iPad-pro), upon opening the model in the ‘normal’ Trimble Connect app, it prompts to open it in the ‘special’ AR app.

I only have a Sketchup subscription. I am a teacher and would like to introduce this resource to my students in Sketchup classes. Is Connect AR a separate subscription then?
