Scan Essentials - Sharing a file with a point cloud

Extending SketchUp Scan Essentials

We’ve scanned a job site (drone), used Scan Essentials to being in the point cloud (las file) and added our proposed designs to the SketchUp file.

Is it possible to share this file with an architect with the point cloud attached? Seems like when opening the file in SketchUp without Scan Essentials, no point cloud.

You would need to share the point cloud data with them, and they would need a Scan Essentials license as well. The scan is only linked into the file, it is not embedded.

You can share a layout drawing with your model and your point cloud in order to share your work.
