3 view drawing of a drawer with dimensions completed on page one in layout. Wanted to draw a piece of plywood and begin my cutting diagram. Did a scaled drawing of the plywood on page two successfully but it seems to have changed the dimensions on page one as well.
Post your LO file otherwise we will just guess.
I closed it without saving because I didn’t know what was going on. So there is no 5’ x 5’ square on page 2 now
Also, as soon as I create a page two it has one of my two layers from page one on it ?!?!
You’ve made your “wire frame” layer shared so the viewports on that layer will show on every page. And if you make any changes to the viewports on one page, the change will carry to the other pages.
Click on the icon at the far right of the layer name and change that layer to unshared.
You shoud also move this layer just under the “hidden line” layer, too. And render the viewports on the hidden line layer as Vector, not Hybrid.

started to put in some dimensions. they are wrong and then spontaneously convert to correct or initially are correct and then change themselves to wrong
So that the faces aren’t shown and the dashed lines, which are under the Hidden Line viewports will show.
The scaled drawing is “remembered”. It’s effectively a group on the page so it’s not that the page is scaled. You can copy the scaled drawing and paste it on another page if you want. If you start a new scaled drawing you will have to select the scale again.
What are you dimensioning. Share the current LayOut file.

Evidently you didn’t move the dimension with the drawing or you moved the dimension and disconnected it from the drawing.

It’s not glitchy. So far every single problem you’ve posted about can be attributed to new-user error. That’s why I’ve recommended several times that you should go through the tutorials at learn.sketchup.com
FWIW, you still haven’t corrected the dimensions of the drawer box. That’s going to come back to bite you.
I find it interesting that you are sending me back my file and it has different dimensions that the one I am looking at right now. Same file. I have no dimension that is in finer precision than 1/16”
That because you have the Display Precision for the dimensions set to 1/16 in. I increased Display Precision to 1/64 in. to more precisely show the dimensions in your model. I made no changes in your SketchUp model. I told you about this setting days ago.
You have the same coarse Display Precision in your SketchUp model, too.
You should set the Display Precision to 1/64 in. in SketchUp so you can see if you have errors in your dimensions while you are working and correct them before they create problems.
