Scale Tool Question too

I sometimes find that I need to expand my basic model in order to get fine detail. I set it up initially at the size I want then use the Scale Tool to make it larger. I expand the width and length by the same number, say 5, increasing it to 5 times the width and breadth of the desired final model. My problem is that I can’t figure out how to shrink it back to the final size preserving the original dimensions I established.

Is there a way to do this with precision?

If you add the Unit you can scale to exact dimensions.
The default is Percentage but adding the unit of measurement changes it to those units. You can even use metric and imperial in the same movement, x,y and z separated by a , or ; depending on your regional settings.
