How can I enter precise dimensions using inches
Add the units for the dimension. So type 12" for twelve inches and so on.
Or maybe you would be better off using the Tape Measure tool. It kind of depends on what you’re trying to scale.
I have tried that with the scale tool to resize but when i hit the shift button to get to inches it reverts to scale
I’m not sure what you mean, Bob. Start the scale operation with the cursor, let go of the mouse and type the dimension with the units. I just tried it again and it worked fine for me.
