Perhaps @Fredo6 will have a suggestion.
the bottom one
Agata,
There is something strange in the plugin installation. There is NO author name for my plugins.
Do you see a menu Window> LibFredo6 Settings
Do you see a menu Tools > Fredo6 Collection?
not the fredo corner, i downloaded roundcorner
I know that! I was replying to @RLGL.
FredoCorner would also be a good extension to have but you need to sort out why your installation is not correct before adding more extensions.
ok. thank you
Hi,
Nope, none of the above
Just to check, both plugins are ok for the 2021 SU for Mac?
Since you have Sketchup 2021.1, could you do the following.
-
Open the Ruby Console
-
Close Sketchup
-
Relaunch Sketchup. The Ruby Console should automatically open.
-
Check out error messages
Also, could you copy/paste in the RubyConsole the following command: LibFredo6.folder
and tell what it responds.
All good now. Thank you
Thank you for your help, I can now use the plugin
Do you see now the Author name in the Extension Manager?
What did you do differently that made it work?
I lounged Ruby Console and restated SU again
It actually âoccursâ (currently) that those items are not hosted on the SketchUp Extension Warehouse.
(The icons are downloaded from the EW as a web resource in the interface.)
And it is a grayed Ruby icon signifying (as a default) it is loaded as a Ruby SketchUp extension.
Note that there is an open request issue to allow extension developers to somehow provide the manager interface the ability to âfindâ the icon image when it is not hosted on the EW.
So as Dave said it doesnât actually âmeanâ anything purposefully other than being generic icon placeholders.
