I did not succeed in rounding the edges of the red area in the model that appears in the picture. I need help on how to do this.

probably having issues with small radius. Use the dave method, create a copy, scale it 100x then run the round corner plugin.
I would agree with mics_54, but I also see an issue with all the acute angles. You might have to use Follow Me, and intersect. As it looks symmetrical, just work on half of it.
there are some overlaps
