Any ideas what is going on here? Sometimes lines behave sometimes they don’t. I am super ■■■■ about my models - there is no hidden geometry in this area as far. I’ve tried intersecting and welding to no avail. No materials applied. Simple architecture view/no style.
Pro/Windows 10.
It’s hard to tell from just a screenshot but it looks like those edges aren’t completely on the surface. If you share the .skp file with us it would be easier to help you identify and fix the issue.
What version of SketchUp are you using? What operating system? What graphics card? Please complete your forum profile.
I added my card to my profile - all other detail are included in the post. Have you seen this issue with different cards?
Its a dedicated mini PC - nothing exotic - I wanted to avoid issues related to hardware/software. These little boxes are like $500 so worth it to avoid hardware/software issues. Totally vanilla - that’s why I’m here
I agree it looks like “those edges aren’t completely on the surface” however all of the adjacent lines/quarter circles were created at the same time and same process. It’s a very clean, simple model.
Probably something dumb and embarrassing.
I guess I’ll wait a bit to see if anyone can help before uploading my .skp.
Thx for ur response.
“inside” shot same area . 30 years ago I would have just “send line to back”
he guessed correctly. I just tried one section of your model, top left part on the image: erase the two arcs, then with the rectangle tool anchor on blue axis draw a rectangle from the beginning and end of the erased arc, finally,
select the rectangle face and the wall face and run intersect faces with selection. And arc is going to be drawn on the curved surface
