RfE: Network License for private Server => better License Management

for avoiding the annoyances of a static private server network license (= no system switch, no lic. amount change) an improved network license mechanism instead of the used RLM is desirable.

With the hardware-based WibuKey or enhanced CodeMeter for Win/Mac a proven and cost-effective solution enabling a flexible, cost-effective and secure floating license management incl. monitoring is avail.

I would favour a software-based approach like the FlexLM system that Autodesk uses. Hardware keys are a nuisance in a corporate environment with servers located offsite in large datacenters operated by third party service providers.
The Zoo system (used in Rhinoceros) is also qiuite good from the end-user point of view.
