I am about to aquire 5 Network licensed Sketchup Pro Programs. The Requirements for the Licenseserver states, that it can not be a Virtual machine. Is that due to technical reasons, or a compliance issue.
Since our whole infrastructure is virtualized we can not easyly just put a bare metal there for 5 sketchup Licenses.
Anybody with experiences?

Have you been reading very ancient documentation? For the latest few releases, Network Licenses are all managed by Trimble’s license server. There is no option to use your own. Users have to have an active Internet connection with certain ports open to start SketchUp. License borrowing lets them work without an connection for the specified time.
