not being able to switch the desired language from inside SU/LO, at least the command line parameter “-lang < LOCALE >” already available with SU should be implemented for LO too.

My location is in Vienna(German speaking area), but i set my window 10 with English.
After I update to SketchUp 2020 (the latest version ), I find that, my SketchUp is in English, but the Layout is in German.
I delete the “German folder” in Layout install folder, and it turns out in half German and half English interface!

this is very confusing and disturbing. Can someone give an idea?

Just found a super hacky way. Rename the resource folder of the desired language to a language code matching your locale* setting.
Would be nice though with something more versatile, like different desktop shortcuts for different languages.

(*Yeah, I know this is often intepreted as a langauge setting, and maybe even intended to be that, but the way it is exposed in the UI it is a locale setting)
