Rectangle tool WITHOUT filled in centre

Hello,

Sometimes when I try to make a rectangle in the centre of the window, it is filled in with a white surface. Sometimes it is NOT filled in.

What do I do so that it is NOT filled in? I want the centre to be completely transparent.

Hi peter, if you want your rectangle filled with the same glass texture (not filled is no option, exept if you delete the face after creating the rectangle), you need to draw it in the same context as your window. So open your component for editing and then draw a rectangle on the glass.
Look at my example to see the difference.

Hey Learned One,

Thank you very much for your input. I made the model over again, made the hole for the window, added the glass and double clicked on the model to put it in context.

Now it works like Iā€™m used to seeing it work.
