Or how about something like this?

that is ok, but i have problem with puting dimensions always. Lay ot is imposible complicated for thise. I newer know what I shal get wen usign dimension tool. /mostly problems are in extensions lines/.

It wasn’t impossible for me to add the dimensions. You have Object Snap turned off. I turned it on before redoing the dimensions for the second screen shot. You need to leave Object Snap (in the Arrange Menu) turned on so that your dimensions will snap to the endpoints in the model.

I have found it better to setup a template file with your own settings saved in it then open it each times and save it for each job file. This gets all of my text and dimensions styles I like set before starting a new job. Just go in a put a bit of text and dimensions and make get the style set then save it as your job template.

Tony makes a good point about setting up a custom template with things like dimension style, fonts, etc. set. Make sure you have Object Snap turned on so that the dimensions will snap to the model.

Where i can find detail tutorial (video) for dimensions LAYOUT SKETCHAP 21 ?

Go to learn.sketchup.com and go through the LayOut tutorials.

You should also go through the SketchUp tutorials. I looked at your SketchUp file and see a few problems.

Untagged should always be active. You have changed the active tag.

the pencil icon should be kept on Untagged.

ALL edges and faces should be created and left as untagged. Tags should only be given to objects (groups and components). I reset the model so all edges and faces are untagged.

You have a 3D model of the building. You should be using it for all of the elevation and plan views. What you’ve got here shows you are working too hard. It also make the whole project much harder to manage when changes are required.

If you just use the 3D model to create the required views, changes to the model when required will be much easier to deal with.

You should have no exposed blue back faces. You should only see white front faces.

It would also be a good idea to learn about using components and groups in your models. As it is,the majority of the house is all loose geometry. Again, this makes working with the model much more difficult than it needs to be.

Also purge unused stuff from your SketchUp files and from LayOut. Here I’ve purged unused stuff from the SketchUp model.

Hello from.

First of all, I thank you for the complex answer and suggestions regarding my questions.

A few years ago, I started using SKETCHUP amateurishly to design simpler objects. I have mastered the basics and can make simpler projects relatively successfully. I always have a problem understanding existing clarifications because although I speak English pretty well it’s not good enough in specific situations.

In order to continue doing these projects I have to work with certified architects and they insist on projects made in the autocad program.

And that’s where my problems arise. When I try to transfer a designed 3d object to an autocad /dwg or dxf/ the results are not satisfactory, and if I go using layout then my projects are too simple or I can never make my dimensions look identical to the autocad.

I am over 70 years old and I have already decided to “send everything to the devil”, but I want to try again because I do not believe that a satisfactory project cannot be done in the sketchup program.

I studied tutorials /videos/ from sketchup and layout learn.sketchup.com.

Now I will try the basis of the 3d model that is cleaned to start the construction of the project. If there’s a problem, I’ll ask for advice.

Thank you
