Push tool, or move tool, the face I'm pushing or moving disappears when it's out of the screen

When I’m pushin/pulling a face, from one end to another in a model, lets say a beam across a room, when I pick the face and start pulling, then I rotate the view to see where I am going, the pull tool disapears and when I click to the other end, then only reapears and lands where it should, however I remember previous versions that the face will follow you across the whole time, so for example if you decide to stop the pulling/ pushing earlier, you can see it

Try switching to the classic graphics engine.

How are you selecting the Orbit tool to rotate the view?

Upload a file that includes where you start from and also mark where you want to go with the extruded face. So we can experiment with the model.

Thanks, that looks like was the issue and now is working as I remembered.

I rotate the views with the mouse wheel.
