Yes. You’ve drawn the outlines of the windows outside of the group. Before drawing them open the group for editing.
Hi DaveR im guessing you mean the group for the wall ?
Yes. That’s where your windows are, right?
they have been ungrouped and its still the same thats whats baffling me appreciate the help though
The windows are just loose geometry (edges and faces) but they are outside of the wall group so they don’t interest with the geometry inside the group. The geometry for the windows needs to be inside the group actually on the face.
You alsso have the wall geometry double grouped. That is the geometry is inside a group which is inside another group. There’s no need for that extra level of grouping. It just makes things more difficult.
Here I’ve exploded one level of grouping and put your window geometry inside the group. Now open the group for editing and push the window opening through the wall.

Hi again not sure what im doing but the window wont push out its just making a large window shaped tunnel
I don’t know what you are doing wrong either. It’s a simple matter of opening the group for editing, getting Push/Pull, pushing the face through, and stopping at the opposite face.
The key is where @DaveR wrote “stopping at the opposite face”. Watch for an inference either on an edge or the face.
Edit: also note that in his video, Dave did the second pushpull by double-clicking, which repeats the same distance as the last one.
ive managed it on other models just not this one
Did you try it on the one I uploaded?
Hi Dave yes I tried your version I’m going to screen record what I’m doing , apologies for been a complete novice
Thanks Guys I know what i was doing i was pushing past the interface
Edit : created a new window and just wont push out again
