Profile Builder 4 Auto Assembly The left-most bounds of the selected entities must be closer to the model origin

Hello, I am getting this message when I try to use the auto assemble feature of Profile Builder. "The left-most bounds of the selected entities must be closer to the model origin. " Any advice. I can upload the file if necessary.
Thanks

If you aren’t familiar with the phrase “model origin” it means the default SketchUp axis.
Presumably you file is a long way from the axis?

Thank you all for your replies.

Just so I better understand model origin, Isn’t the model origin the intersection of the red and green axis lines and when one moves the axis the model origin follows the moved axis?

Also, In a Profile Builder assembly, should all the components have their axes with the red axis pointing in the same direction? The components in a wall assembly I modified all flipped 90 degrees.
Thank you

No, you can move the axis but the global model origin always stays at the same place.

There is a difference between the model axes (and origin) and the user (aka drawing) axes (and it’s origin.) The latter is similar to a User Coordinate System in CAD applications. It is a custom axes used (often temporarily) to make creating geometry easier.

In AutoCAD, the user can save these under a name and use them again whenever they wish. In SketchUp, you can natively save them with a scene page and activate that scene page again to reuse the custom axes.

There are also some extensions that allows saving the drawing axes under a name to mimic what CAD can do.
