Hello,
I have a curved wall in my model where I need to add moldings. I’m using Profile Builder 4 and the Follow Me tool to create the moldings along the curve. However, despite following the correct process, the moldings end up being crooked and do not follow the desired contour properly.
Does anyone have any advice or solutions for this? I’d really appreciate your help!
Do you know what settings you used in PB4 for that model?
What are its dimensions? What does that curve look like?
Is it located far from the origin?
I hope these screenshots will help clarify the problem.
Thank you!
Most likely because of the size. Search the forum for ‘tiny edges in SketchUp’.

And I’m having the same problem with this wall. Do you think the issue is also related to the size? I should be using the molding with these parameters, though
Have you searched the forum to see what ‘tiny edges’ mean and how they affect modeling in SketchUp?
I did as instructed – I increased the component, but the problem still persists. Thank you for your help!
And what size is that profile now? From the picture you posted, can you extract any dimensions?
In some situations, an error appears in the model I drew, but it is possible to create that model if you take into account the size of the edges and other settings.
Posting the model (skp file) would help.
Just a question, has the drawing a closed face?
