It’s still doing the same thing. 
I feel there’s something wrong in my layout itself which is why even a raw new file is having the same issues? Not sure what setting may be causing this? Understand the clean SKP will help. Also the download was only of the layout file not the cleaned up SKP file?

The cleaned up .skp file is embedded in the LayOut file. You can access it by right clicking on a viewport that is linked to it and choosing Open with SketchUp. The viewport on Page 10 should do it.
I am working in 2024 Layout now and new issues. Only having issues in 2026 version.
There are a number of features in SketchUp 2026 which aren’t available in SketchUp 2024. It occurred to me that in some of your models you might have included Environments and Photo Real textures which would add greatly to file size in 2026 but you would lose those in 2024.
I don’t know how large a file can be copied into the “pasteboard” on Mac. I had no issues copying the viewports and pasting them as viewports but I’m working with Windows 11 and there may be a difference in max file size between the two platforms.
If environments and PBR materials are adding enough to the file size to exceed that pasteboard limit I would expect some issues. Definitely purging unused environments and materials would reduce things. Might need to eliminate the environment images altogether.
This issue sounds like you might have turned off auto-rendering. Can you verify whether that’s the case?

Appreciate both of your time. I’m still not sure why Layout 2026 isn’t working with a new SKP & new Layout file. At the moment I’ve been getting by by reverting back to the 2024 version.
I’ll set up a fresh template file and will see if I encounter the same issues in 2026. Otherwise I’ll stick to the 2024 version for now.
