Printing Sketchup in 1:1

I’m trying to print out 1:1 templates to use and I can’t figure out how to do that. This is a great technique that I’ve seen before when building things, but I can’t figure it out for a mac user.

Thanks for the help,
Jessie

  • select one of the standard views (top, front, left…)
  • switch your camera to Parallel projection
  • if your object and paper are small (less than about 300 mm across), zoom in close so that your object fills your screen. If necessary, reshape your SketchUp window to minimize the white space visible around your model.
  • in the Print dialog, again, if you r object is small, disable the “use model extents” checkbox.
  • set your scale and print.
