I’m using Layout 2023. I have an architectural site plan that I would like to print to a D-size drawing over multiple A-size pages. Herere is my site drawing:
The Paper Size options you see in the Printing Preferences are based on what your printer can do. Instead, export a PDF of your Arch D LayOut file and then, in Adober Reader or Acrobat, select the Poster Print option and print to the desired paper size based on what your printer can handle.
Thanks DaveR. I have seen you recommend exporting to PDF previously, but didn’t understand what you meant. Thinking through it further you meant in Layout chose File → Exort → PDF. Not sure the reason I was making this so hard, but I’ve got it now. Thanks for all of your help on this site. You are great!
Exporting to PDF gets past the limitations of the print drivers and just exports the document to the size of the paper you’ve selected in Document Setup. Exporting to PDF also gives you a file you can send to a print shop if needed so it can be printed at full size on large paper.
