I can’t activate the Photoreal Materials - I uninstalled and re installed Sketchup but same issue. It stays gray and can’t access or activate
First make sure you installed SketchUp correctly. That requires right clicking on the installer file and selecting Run as administrator.
Next go into Preferences>Graphics and make sure you have the new graphics engine turned on. If it’s not you will need to turn it on and then quit and restart SketchUp.
What model is the nVidia graphics card?

No need to uninstall. Close SketchUp and LayOut, find the installer in your Downloads folder, right click on it, choose Run as administrator, and when the option appears, choose Repair.
Please add the model number of the GPU to your profile.
