Paste plan of parcels drawing on sketchup on a topographic relief

Hello everyone,

I am trying to paste the plan of parcels drawing on sketchup on a topographic relief by “geolocation”. The lines of the plan aren’t on the relief topographic when I superimpose them. I don’t understand, how can I find a solution ? Please check the screenshots for understand what I mean

use the drape tool in sandbox tools

2. Extrude (Joint push/pull or extrude tools allows you to extrude everything with one command)
   

   

3. Intersect streets with model & delete un-needed geometry

@Forestr, your version is good, I had cases where the drape tool did not go in certain portions, and only after using the intersection, the lines were created.

I agree. Draping works for simple shapes and surfaces but more complex situations require ‘intersect with model/selection.’ Good for others to know and try both techniques.

I have one more questions about the drape tools

It’s possible to use the drape tools between a plan in 3D and a flat surface ? Please, check the screenshot for understand what I mean
