The Sketchup Website worked with Sketchup 2017.

By the way, could you test this folder:

C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2021\Resources\en-US\

If adding:

[ONLINE CHECK]
ONLINE_TEST_URL=https://www.sketchup.com/

to:

i18n.dat

also works, that shows up a problem in SketchUp 2021.

So :D, I bought a new windows 11 computer and am running sketchup 2022 on it and am having the same problem.

I already did the following and that didn’t work this time.

ONLINE_TEST_URL=https://www.sketchup.com/

to:

i18n.dat

Later versions didn’t use i18n.dat, there’s an entry in the PrivatePreferences.json file. In File Explorer you can paste in this text to get to the right place:

%LocalAppData%\SketchUp\SketchUp 2022\SketchUp\

Open PrivatePreferences.json in NotePad, and look for this line:

  "OnlineTestURL": "",

It’s in the Preferences section of the file. If it isn’t in the list, add it. If it is in the list, put the sketchup.com text into the last quotes. Like this:

  "OnlineTestURL": "https://www.sketchup.com/",
