Offset tool on Sketchup for Web is glitching

Hi,
I was trying out SketchUp for Web. And for some reason, the offset tool isn’t functioning properly. When I activate the offset tool and click on the face, it simply creates the offset without allowing me to add a distance or hover in or out.

Am I the only one experiencing this? I also tried incognito mode and it’s the same.

Also, my mouse works fine since the other tools like push-pull, etc work normally.

I think it must be your process. It works as expected for me.
offset

Are you clicking and dragging the mouse to create the offset?
Or are you clicking, releasing the mouse and then dragging to the sides?

I generally select the face first, then activate the offset tool and mention a distance or click again on sketchup pro

Let me test it out on another PC. Maybe something wrong with my laptop

The correct process is click, release, move the cursor, click and release again or let go of the mouse and type the distance. Basically the same as with nearly every other tool in SketchUp.

yup that’s exactly what I do too. But for some reason, it’s not working today. Maybe it should be a double click problem with my mouse.

But it works for the other tools, so it’s weird!

It works properly for me.
Simples way is to click (not releasing) on the face and drag to arbitrary distance in the desired direction, so either in or out. Then let go of the Lmouse button. Immediately type the desired distance and hit [Enter]

When that happens to me, I try clicking, dragging, and then releasing at the desired distance and/or type the distance. If I just click, release a small offset is made that is usually too small. So, just what @Wo3Dan just said.

thanks. That helps!
