I have watched numerous videos to see if I have done something wrong - no luck.
I have searched the problem on the internet - no results.
When I select multiple edges, the offset tool deselects them for some reason. enter image description here
The blue curves are the edges I’m trying to select.
But when I click on the offset button, it deselects them.
I’ve never had this problem before. EVER. But I haven’t used SketchUp in 6 months, so maybe I could be doing something wrong
Most likely the curve doesn’t lie on a single plane. Offset only works with planar edges. Share the SKP file so we can see exactly what you’ve got.
Unfortunately, I’m having the problem with every other thing I select, except for things that are not flat on the ground.
As I wrote, the edges must lie on the same plane for Offset to work.
Upload the SKP file so we can have a look.
Ok, so I have it fixed.
Apparently it was connected to another object in the file (meaning the line was attached to something else), which caused things to mess up.
