I have recently upgraded to 2025, and tried to save my toolbar settings in a template, but it doesnt seem to recall them at all.
Toolbar settings aren’t and never have been saved as part of a template. Toolbar locations are saved in a preferences file.
When you installed SketchUp 2025 did you do so correctly? That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and choosing Run as administrator. If you didn’t install SketchUp correctly Windows wouldn’t grant permissions for the preferences file to be written and the toolbar positions wouldn’t be saved.
