sketchup for school and users app keeps coming back to the sign in when login we are using microsoft account
Hi @daviles, thanks for the post. The desktop version of SketchUp is a different product than SketchUp for Schools. While the core functions are similar and the skills that the students learn using the Educational version of SketchUp will transfer to the desktop version easily enough, it is intended for the professional market. As such, we don’t offer free access to that version. If you absolutely need access to a desktop version of SketchUp our reseller partners offer great discounts for the desktop version. To locate yours just follow this link:
As for documentation on single sign on, I’ll have to ask around and see what I can find for you. It may take me a while to get an answer though as several team members are currently out of the office so plaese understand if the reply is delayed.
Dear Casey,
Thanks for your replay. We are using sketchup for schools and we have been using the online version and desktop app version for schools from the last year. Our understanding is that this version app for schools is free.

Our schools used Microsoft 365. We have enable sketchup for schools in our end and it has been working fine . The issue that we are facing is when we trying to sign in to sketchup using the microsoft account it shows the following message .

Using the web or the app we are getting the same error. it just keeps looping . Can you check if our domain is in the whitelist
Regards
Ah, thanks for the clarification @daviles. We offer indeed SketchUp for Schools for free. When you mentioned a desktop app I assumed you meant Pro as that is the non-web app we offer. I was clearly mistaken in my understanding of your post.
Anyway, if you are unable to access SketchUp for Schools, it could be a number of issues. If you can, could you try accessing the app via Google Chrome? Once you do that, you can open developer mode of the browser. In the console that comes up, you can see the exact error you are getting that is causing the loop. Can you grab a screenshot of that error message and post it here?
Also, you may want to remove your contact info from the post as it is so easy for bots to grab it for nefarious use.
Thanks Casey for your reply everytime that I sign in with my microsoft credentials it ask me to do this all the time.
It ask me to fill my details as well.
