Our Sketchup for School’s windows app are not accepting our SSO.
When you select the Microsoft login option, enter your details, it redirects straight back to the sign-in screen, essentially looping without logging in.
Interestingly, the web version of SketchUp for Schools works fine with Microsoft SSO, so the issue seems isolated to the app.
I’ve reviewed the Enterprise Applications section in Azure and nothing appears out of the ordinary. Permissions and settings seem correct.
I have tried on a company along with personal network with no luck.
Hi @JamesSH, thanks for the post and sorry that you are having issues with SketchUp. The desktop version requires a license to activate. If you have a license and are experiencing issues with it I would recommend opening a ticket to get official support alongside your post. If you do not have a license, then you and your students are limited to the SketchUp for Schools version.

Just to clarify, we’re not using the full desktop version of SketchUp, we’re using the SketchUp for Schools app that’s available via the Microsoft Store and is installed on our devices.

Interestingly, the web version of SketchUp for Schools using the same accounts works fine, so it seems like the problem is isolated to the school’s app version from the Store.

Hmm… that is curious. I don’t have any news yet as our expert was out for a few days and is getting caught up on other work at the moment but I’ll add the details you mentioned to my report for her to look over when she is available.
Hi @JamesSH, sorry for the delay in our reply to this. We are aware of a bug and are working on a fix for it. We will keep you updated on when we can get it rolled out. Just keep using the web app for now.
