I meant (and should have said) not native English speaking/reading/writing forum members or something similar, instead of foreigners.
To me you could all be foreigners depending on where you are (although maybe not in the pub).
In case it wasn’t clear from the previous responses, properties such as field-of-view and focal length are parameters of a real camera lens. In Perspective Projection, SketchUp generates the view as if a real camera took the image. So, you can manipulate these properties as if you were changing the real lens on a camera.
Parallel Projection, in contrast, is an intentionally distorted view that can’t be created using a real lens. As a result, these properties have no meaning in Parallel Projection and SketchUp won’t let you set them.
