No way to flip along with lines and arcs?

In sketchup make I can only get the flip along function to show up when clicking on a fully formed object. It never shows up for lines or arcs why not!?

I does, just that they only appear in the context menu (or work) when more than one primitive is selected.

SketchUp doesn’t see endpoint of lines and arcs as ‘primitives’ so you woud have to select more in order to flip along. SketchUp only recognizes centerpoints of Arc and circles, not of lines and rectangles.
