I can’t figure out how to make a transparent or translucent shape in LayOut for the Mac. I have seen video tutorials where there is a transparency slider in the Shape Style tray (Windows version) but this slider is absent in the Mac version, or at least with one I have. Any help?
When you click on the color swatch area in Shape Style you should get a Colors window and it should have a slider for Opacity.
Thank you!
It appears you’ve selected the Colors from the Fonts window, not Shape Style. There’s no option to make transparent font color.
Try changing the Fill color, though. Do you get the Opacity slider then?
Thanks, that worked.
