ojala puedas, que amable por tu pronta respuesta!

The file has a large block of missing data. Do you have the .skb backup file?

Where have you been saving the file while you were working on it?

Tengo el skb de un dia anterior, todo lo que hice en un dia no se puede abrir, y ese si lo pude abrir.

That’s good. at least you haven’t lost all of your work.

Where have you been saving the .skp file while working on it? Make sure it’s saved in a folder on an internal drive. Also. since you have a SketchUp subscription, upload the file to your Trimble Connect storage so you have another backup copy.

There should be a backup created unless you’ve turned that off in Preferences.

Did you install SketchUp correctly? That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator.

asi lo tengo…

And did you install SketchUp correctly?

supongo que si…

Hello! I’m unable to open one of my works, I’ve tried everything. Please help me, it was an exhausting work and I don’t think I’ll be mentally able of doing it all over again from zero. The message I receive is “SketchUp No se pudo abrir el documento” or “SketchUp the document could not be opened”.

This is the link for the SKP file:

And this is the link for the SKB file:

Please help me @colin @DaveR I’m really desperate and don’t know what to do! Nothing is working!

Your forum profile says you are using the Free Plan of SketchUp 2021. Does that mean you are using a cr racked version? Where have you been saving the file while you were working on it?

FWIW, if you use SketchUp 2024 with a legitimate subscription the Icon Bay file will open with no problem.

Once you get it open you should fix the incorrect tag usage. All edges and faces should be untagged. Only groups and components should be given tags.

Also purge unused stuff from your model. There’s no point hoarding all those components and materials. Doing that will knock 70% off the file size making it easier for your computer to deal with it.
