No one returns emails to me from my support request

I have emailed Sketch Up several times and still no one returns my emails or even a call which I would prefer. Very disappointed.
How can I speak with someone please?

Your forum profile says you are using SketchUp 2021. At this point in time you wouldn’t have access to SketchUp support. That would have lapsed a year after you purchased the SketchUp 2021 license. Maybe you could ask your question here. We might be able to help.

I have Sketch Up Pro 2021. Every time I open my Sketch Up the information is on the top of the program.
I need to speak with someone about my subscription which is still Active. However, my subscription was made on 5/13/2021 and right now I cannot have access to my Warehouse 3d and the program is saying that I need to upgrade to a new version. I have no problem to upgrade but the expiration is on May not now. That’s why I want to talk to someone about that but there is no want to talk to and now even an answer by emails they sent to me as I emailed them several times.

The 3D Warehouse stopped supporting SketchUp 2021 at the end of January. This was announced months ago.

If you actually have a subscription you can install the current version of SketchUp and then have access to the 3D Warehouse.

If you choose to stick with SketchUp 2021, you can access the 3D Warehouse through your web browser and downlad the objects you want that way.

As I said I have Sketch Up Pro 2021 and It does not let me go into my 3D Warehouse. For me to get in they are asking me to upgrade.
I can have access to my Sketch Pro, the only thing I cannot access is the Warehouse.

As I have said several times, the 3D Warehouse no longer supports SketchUp 2021. That support ended on January 31, 2024.

If you have a subscription you can upgrade to SketchUp 2023 and then you can access the 3D Warehouse via the UI in SketchUp.

Is that a bad thing?

Sorry, I think I understand now. Your subscription expiring in May doesn’t mean you can’t upgrade to the newest version of SketchUp. You absolutely can upgrade without any change to your subscription dates.

As stated above already, if you have an active subscription then you can upgrade anytime to the latest version 23. However, if you start using 23 now and do not intend to re-subscribe after you expiration date in May then be aware your SketchUp 23 will stop functioning when your sub expires. You will not be able to open or work with SketchUp unless you continue to subscribe. IF your version of 21 was bought full price on a classic license it will continue working, but will not be updated, and will loose functionally like accessing the warehouse through the program as that older version becomes obsolete. It really get’s down to if you are going to keep subscribing or not.

I see that your subscription is due to renew in May, so you should still be able to continuing using SketchUp 2021.

Is there a reason you are still using that version?

With regards to support not replying to you, I have asked the support managers to check into why that would be.

I am attempting to start using my software. I subscribed a while back but I am ready to start. I am having a problem launching my paid subscription. Every time I seek support I am diverted. All I want to do is launch and start using the software I am being billed for. What is my solution?

How long ago was that?

What happens when you try to launch it? Do you get an error message? Does it hang?

For starters, let’s clear up some issues with your profile. You say you’re using the Pro plan, but you list your OS as iOS, meaning you’re trying to launch the iPad version, correct? I ask because the iPad version is accessible in both Go and Pro plans, but the desktop version is only in Pro, and it would help to know which of those you subscribed to.

I am using and IPAD. The IPAD l am using is new and my original download was on an older device. Do I have to transfer my license?

As long as you log in with the same information as your old device, you shouldn’t have any issues.
Like I asked, what happens when you try to start up the application?

I get a message that says…You’re currently signed in to SketchUp for iPad with a Trimble account, that has a SketchUp free plan associated with it.

It appears, however, that a user of this iPad has purchased a SketchUp Go subscription via the Apple App Store.

To access a paid subscription, sign out and then sign back in with the Trimble account associated with your subscription.

So, when you go into the app store and tap on your account icon in the upper right corner, and go to subscriptions, there’s an active subscription for SketchUp, correct?

You just repeated exactly what you told me already.

The email you use for the forum only has a Free entitlement. It’s possible that when you signed in you used the Sign in with Apple option. If you did, try signing in that way again.

When I pulled up the App Store, I get a notification that explains, …This iTunes account is set up to use Family Sharing with a different iCloud account.
