No Materials in the default tray

Hi there hope you all well.

I need some help if possible with a problem that I’m having in regards Materials. I don’t have any materials in my default tray and not sure how to get them. I recently bought SU Pro 2024 with lifetime licence and install it to my laptop. The software is running but I just don’t know how to fix this issue. I did try to run the software as administrator and process with rapair, but still no luck.

Btw I’m Very Very new to SU so excuse my enthusiasm with this request of mine :sweat_smile::folded_hands:.

From whom did you buy a lifetime license for SketchUp 2024? Where did you get it? Sounds like there’s an issue with the download.

It would help if you show the bottom of the Materials panel.

I bought it online from a Primelicense.com.

It was addressee there and I did download it from the link provided in my email.

Can you please specify which part of the panel, as this is the bottom of it.

This sounds like you bought a pirated copy of SketchUp. I forwarded their info to our compliance team. The only place to buy SketchUp in the United States is from Trimble.

Are you serious :neutral_face:. In the Internet says that sketchup used to sell this license :man_facepalming:. Is there any way I can check if this is legitimate version or no? I have been provided a licence key even..

Yes.

Since 2021 the only legitimate/legal license has been a subscription license. That doesn’t have a license key.

You should request a refund and then purchase a legal subscription from Trimble.

We will work with you to get you a genuine license. SketchUp has not sold perpetual licenses since version 2021. Our current version is 2026. A perpetual copy of 2024 is likely a crac ked copy.

I checked that site, they’re selling windows 12 licenses as preorder, sketchup 2024 costs €99 and Archicad 28 costs €69. Their website looks legit though they invested time for scamming people.
