Many materials I used quite often in 2024 are now gone in 2025.
There is no grass or water.
I look for them on 3D warehouse and cannot find any.
Am I missing something???

Im struggling with this also? I followed moving the folder folder but noticed it was empty? Do you have any suggestions?
What is empty? Are you saying your
“C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2024\SketchUp\Materials”
folder is empty?
Yer thats it, I try to install SU once i update to newer version. Maybe thats caused it? very annoying water is not in 2025..

I don’t have materials folders in 2024 or 2025? I find the 2025 materials very frustrating. The colours change and there are lots of materials missing. I have had to go back to using 2024. Are there any other ways to revert the materials?
Yes, you can search the forum for many similar posts:
Make a template with your favorite materials.
Turn off the toggle for automatically converting to the new PBR materials (in preferences / settings menu, but I’m away from my computer).
Copy the old materials folder over to 2025 and make it a collection / etc.

I also hate the cubes!
This was awesome and I thank you. I however took the materials folder out of 2025 for save keeping and replaced it with 2024 version. Opened up 2025 and the 2024 materials showed up.
