You can copy material from old SketchUp installation to SU2025.
Here is one way, to do it:

Open Windows Explorer an make sure you can see hidden folders.

Navigate to:
C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2024\SketchUp
Open a second Windows Explorer and Navigate to:
C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2025\SketchUp\Materials
Copy Materials folder
from: C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2024\SketchUp
to : C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2025\SketchUp\Materials
I recommend to rename the newly copied Material folder to e…g. #Legacy_Materials

Next time you open SU 2025 you can see these Legacy Materials, their icons will be flat!
