Hi, I’m very new to Sketchup so allow me ask very beginner’s question please.
I have been trying to create a floor plan on 2D, and somehow I have set the mode or something to not to show guide points by mistake…
Now either using Line, Rectangle or tape measure, nothing to show me I’m at the corner or middle.
Could anyone help me to back on default? any tips would be appreciated😭
You are probably talking about inferencing and not guidepoints…
There is no way of turning off inferencing in Sketchup so the problem must be something else.
Could you update you forum profile with the correct information? That helps us to help you better…
your operating system is either Windows or MacOs followed by a version number, not 2023…
2023 is probably your SketchUp Pro version and should be one line up.
Also try to find out what graphics card you have. If you don’t know where to find that info, try Googling: “what GPU do I have”
To help achieve your goals, some time spent at the SketchUp Campus and at the SketchUp - YouTube channel will be very worthwhile. Both sites are from the SketchUp team. On the YouTube channel, pay attention to the Square One Series and Level UP series. They cover the basics for each tool.
Thank you for your advice.
I will look into my info later.
So I wanted to ask, for example when you draw a line after you set measurement, Sketch up tell you the intersection, right?
Or when rectangle, it tells that you are at the corner or middle, but it’s gone…
I remember I was trying to tag one of the door, and it didn’t work so I pressed command +Z… was it something to do with it?
