Hi, is it possible in sketchup control or limit drawing under the ground? I never know when I am or I am not under the ground. Thanks a lot
There’s no way to prevent drawing below the ground plane but there’s no reason to do that accidentally. This is a 3D space you’re working in so you should be moving the camera to look at the model from all sides. If you are being deliberate and avoid sloppy modeling, it shouldn’t be a problem.
You could draw a large face on the ground plane to help you. Group the face so what you’re drawing doesn’t wind up merging with it. If you pay attention, you’ll be able to see when the cursor is on the face.
