New to Sketchup. Problems Accessing Sketchup Go on Desktop, after purchase?

Just purchased Sketchup Go '24 after initial trial period. Currently working with a Surface Pro.
First, it won’t allow me to open up drawings created during the trial period…
Second, it won’t let me open up Layout…(Do I really need to upgrade to Sketchup Pro for the Surface Pro?)
Help?

It sounds like you used a trial of SketchUp for Desktop not the Web based SketchUp Go. The SketchUp GO subscription does not include access to SketchUp for Desktop nor LayOut. You would need a Pro or Studio subscription for that. SketchUp Go gets you only SketchUp Go (web) and SketchUp for iPad.

By the way, the SketchUp version in your profile would not be “SketchUp LayOut” and the operating system would be Windows 10 or Windows 11, not “2024”.
