New limit for new projects since an hour?

Hello,

is this a bug or is this real that there is now a limit of 2 new projects every month for sketchup web?

2 hours ago there was no limit but now if i want to start a new project it gives a warning for 2 new project starts every month. I dont think anybody will buy a Skekchup licence after changes like that, most people will just switch to another tool for there small privat projects, i will do it because if you thinking about something and wanna try out few things you just start and delete some projects. With a limit of 2 every month sketchup web is complete useless for a lot of people and it will bring not a good feedback for a earlier unlimted free web version.

Would it be not smarter to make a limit for savefiles for free users if you want to reduce the amount of traffic and savefiles.

Pls tell me this is a bug.

How many projects do you do as a hobbyist in a month?

like 3-4 real projects in a year. But to test stuff or try other options for that project its easy up to 10-20 new starts for every project.

Just leave a project open.

I don’t know what the exact policy change is but I expect they had a reason for it. I doubt this will impact people who are using SketchUp professionally since they would have a subscription and the limitation you are referring to won’t apply to them
