The icons all blend into one another creating a non-de-script menu bar. Compare this with earlier versions to see the difference.
I have used SketchUp for a long time, even before Google and Trimble took over. The program has always been quick, easy and fun to use, while evolving into a more useful and robust platform. The newer icons and screen graphics remove the quick, easy and fun to use aspect of the program. Sketchup has lost its visual brand, which was one of the things that distinguished it from other drafting programs.
Most programs offer a preference when making major a change to the graphics allowing the user to decide whether or not they want to bother adapting to a new system. When the system is better, I adapt, and when it is not, I use the “classic” preference. In this case the new icons are not better.
Is there a preference button or extension that will restore the older icons?
