Hi,
My sketchup file crashed due to abrupt power cut off.
I tried opening the original skp file but I got an error that “This does not appear to be a SketchUp model!”
Then, I tried renaming my skb file to skp and opening it, I got an error that “Failed to open document.”
I recoverd an file from Disk recovery and tried opening it, I got a “File Integrity Error”
Please help me recover the file

skp file is filled with 0
it doesn’t even have the file structure of a SU file.
skb is about 1/5th of data, rest is 0
skb2 is more promising, it has chucks of weird data and 0s but way less than the other one.
@colin might be able to retrieve something, but he might not.

nope. If colin, with his official secret sketchup tools can’t recover anything, then the fils is certified toast.
so while you’re waiting for him to come around and peek at the file, you better start from whatever previous version you have around. better not loose any time.
